While both the corporate media and the alternative media like to portray Trump and Biden as representing opposites in their political views, there is one thing that unites both men: Their support for COVID-19 vaccines.

Here is President Biden even admitting publicly, last December, that he and President Trump agree on COVID-19 booster shots, as both of them had received their COVID-19 booster vaccines.

Fierce Pharma published an article today about a new book written by one of President Trump’s Operation Warp Speed leaders, Paul Mango, who was the deputy chief of staff at HHS in the Trump administration.

Even with the evidence now in VAERS showing record number of people dead or disabled after the shots, with more people dying following a COVID-19 vaccine than people dying from all other vaccines ever produced for the past 31 years, Mango is proud of Trump’s accomplishments in Operation Warp Speed, and criticized Big Pharma for not producing more vaccines under Trump.

Political zealotry aside, it’s hard to deny that Operation Warp Speed—the Trump administration project to develop and deliver vaccines to Americans to counter COVID-19—was anything less than a success.

But if there’s one aspect of Warp Speed that came up short, it was in the initial production of vaccines. After setting a highly ambitious goal of producing 300 million doses in 2020, the effort produced barely 100 million.

In his upcoming book, Warp Speed: Inside the Operation that Beat COVID, the Critics, and the Odds, Paul Mango discusses—with some interesting revelations—the manufacturing constraints that the operation faced and why the pledge proved unrealistic. Mango, the former deputy chief of staff at HHS, followed the agency’s chief Alex Azar when he took a major role with Warp Speed.

In the summer of 2020, when Warp Speed identified six vaccine candidates to pursue, the team kicked off a massive manufacturing scale-up from 27 facilities that either were starting from scratch or had to be expanded for vaccine production. (Full article.)

Meanwhile, the FDA is set to authorize a second COVID-19 vaccine booster for both Pfizer and Moderna.

While experts have no clear consensus on this question, it’s likely to get increased attention in the coming weeks as Moderna has asked the FDA to authorize a second booster dose of its COVID-19 vaccine.

The move comes on the heels of a similar request from Pfizer and BioNTech for authorization of a second booster shot of their vaccine.

There’s a key difference in the applications, however. While Pfizer asked for a nod for its booster in people 65 and older, Moderna wants its second booster dose cleared for people 18 and older. (Full article.)
