www.RasaLilaHealing.com – Considering Virgo is a sign that embodies focused intention as well as ritual we may benefit well to light a candle or perform some other act of prayer or gratitude on the day of our approaching Solar Eclipse in Virgo this Sunday the 13th. A Solar Eclipse happens when a New Moon aligns with the Moon’s Nodes, often referred to as the Nodes of Fate sowing a seed (beginning) of a six month cycle. Eclipse Season often depicts a sudden shifting of energy, a change of fate so to speak. Indeed, the shifting energies are especially felt this year with Saturn simultaneously finishing his nearly three year transit of Scorpio next week on the same day that Mercury turns retrograde (and of course Venus just turned direct a few days ago…). The change of fate can very much set us in different unexpected directions, twists and turns; Suddenly things are very different. The culminating completing Scorpio energy (Saturn at 29°) is intensely finishing purging old insecurities and instating us in a new level of power and mastery. This Eclipse in itself places strong emphasis on Virgo (along with Jupiter and soon the Moon’s North Node) and opposes Chiron in Pisces. Simultaneously, Black Moon Lilith transits the Moon’s North Node. This is signaling a destiny to heal the desolated and downfallen feminine and restore the lineages that used to represent the sacred feminine; the high priestess / medicine woman energy. Virgo in itself as an archetype contains behind her many veils one of the greatest secrets and most necessary components on the spiritual journey: Humility. Virgo energy is subtle, small, shy, meek by nature – but it is by this very quality that Virgo can fit through the eye of a needle unlike any camel can. “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.” This is hereby a grand opportunity to finish the last three years of “digging up and plundering” fears and insecurities, harness our power, and now begin ANEW with fresh, clean, healthy and focused energy.
